As always Go Catch a fish with Doug.


Filet and cut up into 1" cubes, 1/2 lb per/person
(recipe is for about 4)
1/2 med onion chopped fine
1/4 cup canola oil or ghee
1-2 tblsp. curry powder ( see recipe below)
1.5 tblsp. flour or cornstarch
1/4 - 1/2 cup water
1 tsp sea salt
1 cup 5% min. yogurt
fresh cilantro, 1/4 cup chopped
1/2 chopped tomato (optional)

Curry Powder
I have an old coffee grinder I use for this
put in it
1 tsp cumin seed,
1 tsp coriander seed, 
1 tsp Tumeric
1 tsp pepper flakes or 1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
Grind away


heat pan with oil, add onions sauté for 10 min. 
add curry powder and salt 
saute for 5 min.
add flour to make roux
add water 
optional add tomato
add 2 lbs cubed cod
cook on low till just cooked
stir in yogurt
add cilantro
serve with rice
